With the help of our professional guides we strive to give every client the hunt of a lifetime. Our Archery and muzzleloader hunts are conducted on over 25000 acres of private leases, and 1.3 million acres of Gila National Forest. All tags are guaranteed, no drawings!! With the help of the New Mexico Game and Fish Department, we can set our own hunting dates from September to December, resulting in less hunters per week, and more hunts with more trophies. This unit is primitive weapons only. You may use archery or muzzleloaders only. Modern inline muzzleloaders with scopes and sabots are allowed. all our ranches are planted with rye fields and water tanks to keep trophy bulls plentiful.

Hunting

Muzzleloader hunts are 5 days. You should arrive the day before your hunt begins, and leave the day after. Muzzleloader hunts begin in October, and run through December. the morning hunt consists of ambushing Elk as they move from the fields to their bedding. The rest of the days hunt will be from tree stands or Double Bull blinds near watering holes. We do not chase Elk unless we have bugling bills. this unit has never been open to rifle hunters, giving us some of the best trophy hunting in the country.

we offer some of the most adrenaline rushed bow hunts in the heart of trophy country. all Archery hunts are 6 days. The methods we use are ambushing and cow talking, along with bugling. We hunt in the mornings and evenings. Water is at a premium in this dry climate so we spend our mid-days over watering holes.
