Dead Block dated for PSN, XBLA
"Zombie defense" game Dead Block shambles onto Xbox Live Arcade on 6th July, and PlayStation Network on 20th July, publisher Digital Reality has announced.
Developed by Candygun Games, the tongue-in-cheek title sees you attempting to kick zombies off your turf using a variety of traps and weapons.
Set in 1950s USA, it follows three unlikely heroes in the midst of a zombie outbreak apparently caused by the advent of rock 'n' roll.
You'll choose from Boy Scout Mike Bacon, construction worker Jack Foster or no-nonsense meter maid Foxy Jones, each of whom boasts their own unique special attack.
"We’re a huge fan of zombies, but we’re even bigger fans of finding the most creative ways of disposing of the undead buggers," commented Digital Reality exec Balazs Horvath.
"Dead Block has been a dream project of ours, and we’re elated to finally unleash it upon the world."

M416 Trailer tongue jack ideas using a Hi-lift
Ok I need a fairly quick fix, the landing leg is not going to be used because it's to short with the lift and matching tires (while I could extend the landing leg it still will not lift the tongue). The tongue will be heavy with a full size spare and two batteries. I've used a Hi-Lift in the yard on a theoretical basis and it will work. What I need to know is how to mound it to the trailer to be used as a landing leg and a trailer tongue jack, and ALSO be removed while connected to the vehicle to change a tire if necessary. Thats one I didn't think of, I do already have a shorty HL which could be used for that. It could mount on the passenger side and swing to drivers, them be fastened. A heavy duty one sided threaded shock mount could help with the swing. I also posted this on Expo M416 Tongue Jack ideas using a Hi-Lift and came up with adjustable 2 piece square tube with aligning holes as a lynch pin could be fabricated so that it would clear the tight space that the under-mounted spare makes and the HL could be used for lifting and lower duties onto the likely stronger square tube landing leg.
